Linking the Emirates
Passenger operations are set to begin in phases throughout 2026. The initial routes will connect Abu Dhabi with Dubai (Jumeirah Golf Estates) and Fujairah (Al Hilal), eventually expanding to cover 11 cities across the UAE.
Trains will travel at speeds up to 200 km/h, offering a faster alternative to driving. The Abu Dhabi to Dubai trip is expected to take just 57 minutes, while reaching Fujairah will take about one hour and 45 minutes. Integration with local buses and taxis will ensure a seamless “door-to-door” travel experience.
