Korea’s University of Science and Technology has announced fully funded scholarship opportunities for eligible students, offering a major boost to those seeking advanced education and research exposure. The scholarships are designed to support talented individuals by covering tuition fees, living expenses, and other academic costs, making higher education more accessible. This initiative highlights UST’s commitment to attracting global talent, promoting academic excellence, and strengthening its position as a leading hub for science, technology, and innovation-driven learning.

Planning to study in South Korea? Students aspiring to continue their higher education can now explore the UST Scholarship 2026 as a gateway to globally recognised academic training.

The University of Science and Technology (UST) in South Korea has opened applications for its fully funded scholarships for the 2026 academic intake. These scholarships welcome international students who wish to enrol in Master’s, Doctoral, or Integrated MS-PhD programmes across a wide range of disciplines. With the UST Scholarship 2026, students from any country can apply to pursue advanced studies in South Korea. Interested candidates should note that the application deadline is February 23, 2026.

The scholarship is designed to remove financial barriers by covering all major academic and living expenses. Awardees receive full tuition support, exemption from entrance fees, free accommodation, and a monthly living allowance. Master’s students receive KRW 1,200,000 per month, while PhD scholars are supported with KRW 1,600,000 per month. In addition to financial aid, the programme includes health and accident insurance, round-trip airfare, Korean language course fees, and access to e-library resources and counselling services. Students may also benefit from overseas training opportunities, exchange programmes, and recognition through research and excellence awards upon graduation.

UST offers programmes across nearly all academic fields, with around 300 scholarships available for outstanding international applicants. The funding is structured to support students throughout the entire duration of their degree in South Korea. Applicants of all nationalities are eligible to apply. Those seeking admission to a Master’s programme must have completed, or be on track to complete, a bachelor’s degree by September 2026. PhD applicants should hold, or expect to complete, a master’s degree by the same date.

To apply, candidates need to prepare academic certificates and transcripts, a study plan, letters of recommendation, and a master’s thesis where applicable. Applications must be submitted through the official UST online application portal, and applicants are encouraged to carefully review the detailed guidelines before applying. A direct application link is available on the official UST website for interested candidates.
