Huda Beauty has officially regained full ownership, transitioning back into an independent brand under the leadership of founder Huda Kattan. This strategic move allows the company to take full control of its creative direction, product development, and business growth without external influence. By reclaiming independence, Huda Beauty aims to stay true to its original vision, strengthen its brand identity, and innovate more freely in the competitive global beauty industry.
Huda Kattan has ended Huda Beauty’s eight-year collaboration with TSG Consumer Partners and has regained complete ownership of the company.
The internationally recognized beauty brand announced that it is now independently owned once again, following the closure of its long-standing partnership with TSG Consumer Partners, which had purchased a minority share in 2017. As of 2025, founder and co-CEO Huda Kattan has bought back that stake, restoring full control over the business.
With this acquisition, Huda Beauty stands as a fully independent enterprise, one of the few founder-owned brands in the beauty industry. This development marks a transformative point for the brand, strengthening its commitment to originality, transparency, and its loyal global community, while staying firmly rooted in a founder-driven vision.
“This moment holds immense personal meaning for me,” said Huda Kattan. “It represents the belief that even when people doubt your vision or say it’s too ambitious to achieve alone, you already have everything within you to make it happen. Huda Beauty was created with passion, creativity, and the goal of reshaping beauty standards. As we move forward, I remain fully committed to innovation, our core values, and to standing beside our incredible community.”
With Huda Kattan now the sole owner, her husband Christopher Goncalo continuing as co-CEO, and her sister Alya Kattan leading social strategy, Huda Beauty is poised for a dynamic future, filled with bold innovations, stronger community connections, and a continued drive to challenge norms in the beauty space.
