Centific, an AI services startup based in the Seattle area and a key partner of Nvidia, has raised $60 million in funding. The investment marks a significant milestone for the company, which specializes in AI-driven solutions and digital transformation services. The funding will be used to scale its operations, enhance its technological capabilities, and expand its global reach. This growth positions Centific to play a larger role in the rapidly evolving artificial intelligence ecosystem.
Centific, a startup based in Redmond, Washington and launched in 2020, supports organizations in managing complex data systems essential for powering advanced artificial intelligence, and has secured $60 million in Series A funding led by Singapore-based investor Jenny Lee from Granite Asia.
The company positions itself as the essential backbone enabling high-performance AI applications, supplying the core data infrastructure needed for deploying AI at scale. It partners with major global brands across smartphones, tablets, e-commerce, and tech sectors, including collaborations with top companies like Nvidia, Microsoft, and Amazon Web Services.
According to Lee, enterprises worldwide are shifting from AI testing to large-scale implementation, which demands extensive infrastructure, reliability, and integration with legacy systems and Centific is uniquely positioned to support this transition. The company is headed by CEO and co-founder Venkat Rangapuram, who brings experience from roles at Pactera, HCL America, and Infosys.
Rangapuram stated that AI is moving beyond standalone models to sophisticated systems capable of sensing, analyzing, and taking action at scale, and Centific’s comprehensive Data Foundry platform is built to support this evolution by combining expert knowledge, real-time human validation, and seamless multimodal processes delivered efficiently and effectively.
Fortune reports that Centific began as the U.S. arm of Pactera, a technology consulting firm based in China. The company employs nearly 3,000 people, with most of its staff based in India, according to LinkedIn data.
